Three things about my outfit: 1) I wore a denim shirt over it to prevent/cover nip-slips 2) It's a slightly longer dress and I used fabric tape to shorten it 3) I want this dress in every color

Again, lovely dress and great individual pieces but the dress is too chic to be paired with a boot. The boots would've still (perhaps) worked if the dress were shorter. This one screams gorgeous strappy heels. Black leather-esque boots don't go with every dress.
